People can have Flat feet, crowded teeth, joints that are flexible, thin narrow face, and a small lower jaw.

Marfan syndrome usually is detected after birth, most kids have marfan syndrome

Marfan syndrome is a dominant trait and it is sex linked

It is a dominant autosomal disease

15 chromosomes carry this gene

There are some treatment options, but their is really no known cure for the disease

50% of the children of a person with Marfan syndrome will also be affected

A beta blocker can improve the heart rate, some medications can help. They are also working on some surgeries to help this disease

Marfan syndrome can really affect children as they grow up, so parents should always know what is going on with there children and what is happening to them
